Verod Capital Announces the Inclusion of Yanish Bondahjagalu - its Chief Financial Officer - in the 2021 Choiseul 100 Africa Top 200 Leaders List

LAGOS, NIGERIA – 15 DECEMBER 2021: Verod Capital Management Limited (“Verod”) is proud to announce the inclusion of Yanish Bondahjagalu, its Chief Financial Officer, in the 2021 Choiseul 100 Africa Top 200 Leaders List

The Choiseul 100 Africa is an annual study independently carried out by Institut Choiseul. It identifies and ranks young African leaders 40 years old and below, who will play a major role in the continent’s economic development in the near future.
 
Yanish is based in Verod’s Mauritius Office and leads the firm’s finance department. He is responsible for the execution of the financial strategy of Verod including overseeing Verod’s funds in accordance with the relevant fund’s policies and objectives, as well as, regulatory requirements and compliance. His responsibilities cover financial reporting, developing finance organizational strategies, investor servicing, audits, treasury management, tax planning, compliance and risk management. In addition, Yanish also oversees the Internal Audit function across the Group.

Yanish joined Verod from Leapfrog Investments where he served as Chief Operating Officer (Mauritius) from 2015 to 2020. Prior to his time at Leapfrog Investments, Yanish spent four years with Omega Global Mauritius Limited (a subsidiary of Milestone Capital Advisors Limited) from 2011 to 2015 in various roles including Chief Operating Officer. Yanish also spent three years as Associate Executive with International Financial Services Limited, Mauritius from 2007 to 2011.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).
